On a team’s roster as a contributing team member, however a portion of their time is leveraged across the product for technical product uplift
Engages all stakeholders including product owner, business, product architects, engineers across all teams, SRE, business , and product to ensure feature delivery aligns with technical direction and stakeholder requirements and functional/non-functional completeness
The team’s technical advocate . Challenge the teams’ design, software engineering, and delivery practice norms.
Create a constructive, collaborative, safe and educational environment across teams to adopt and maintain modern software engineering practices.
Continuously educated on emergent software engineering patterns and the product’s business domains. Develop and maintain self and team expertise in specific applicable product technologies.
Regularly mentors more junior people ; promotes teamwork and shared success
Expert in on or more domains, tools or technology stack or platform; sought out by peers for expertise; utilizes and / or contributes to open source projects
