Apple is seeking a Product Manager with technology background to join our premier Identity and Access Management (IAM) Services team, working in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment. Candidates will work with business and engineering teams to deliver software solutions from its design to release. They must have solid project management skills in both waterfall and agile environments.
A Product Manager candidate for this team should be able to participate in defining and driving new product initiatives in any layer of Apples identity and access management stack while closely collaborating with engineering and business. This candidate should be able to improve and innovate equally in security, productivity, efficiency, and user experience. The candidate must be be able to equally find passion in platforms and end-user features regarding security, identity, and access management.
In addition, the ideal Product Manager candidate should have a strong track record of delivering technical solutions, especially through software engineering. This background is essential to be able to quickly Proof-of-Concept ideas. They should also be singularly focused on measuring every aspect of the lifecycle of the product or solution. In addition to remarkable product intuition, this candidate should be passionate about data-driven decisions.
The IAM team also needs someone who can prioritize issues, manage details, and see the big picture. They should be able to think on their feet and efficiently debate the validity of a given approach for any aspect of projects or features or products under their control. We are looking for a professional who is a detail-oriented, organized self-starter, who is self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility.
A background in identity and access management concepts is preferred.
Drive and ship large projects that involve multiple features and groups at Apple
Drive functional and technical design for business requirements
Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent feature development including scope, requirements, and timelines
Collaborate with a variety of team members from a diverse array of groups across the company
Lead multi-functional projects with only consultative direction from management
Plan and prioritize a portfolio of projects, setting priorities, measurable objectives, and deadlines
Deliver communications on status and concerns to team members, management, and other project partners
Collect and review business requirements, and set expectations for requested services
Excellent presentation/story telling skills, and a love for distilling complex quantitative problems, concepts and solutions into concise business-focused takeaways across audiences, including senior leaders/c-suite.
A proven track record to navigate through ambiguous and dynamic environments working with global teams on highly complex cross-functional projects. Strong capabilities to work with executive level partners as well as peers and individual contributors across a wide breadth of projects and programs
