 This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systemsÂ
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: Javascript, Java/J2EE
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
* Code in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. JavaScript, UI, MVC, HTML, CSS, Java/J2EE.
* You have a passion for creating the best user experience possible.
* As a Software Engineer, drive the technical team and Product Owners in an Agile development process.
* 5 plus years of experience in Software Engineering with:
+ Strong web development experience with in-depth understanding of JavaScript, ES6, Promise, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS
+ Preferred experience in front-end frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, vue.JS
+ Proficient with Java/J2EE and Spring frameworks.
+ Working knowledge in test automation frameworks and test runners.
+ Accessibility / WCAG 2.1 compliance guidelines knowledge and/or experience desired.
+ Experience in large customer facing applications highly preferred.
* Experience with other Agile/Lean practices such as XP or Kanban.
* Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development.
* Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
* Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes.
* Practice of Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery.
