Project & Job Description:
MT-Discovery Opsdata tenant is a Bigdata Cloudera data lake with 5PB+ of storage. Merchant services analytics team uses data from this data lake for building their models and dashboards. Around 300+ data files are uploaded every day. As part of MT-Discovery platform, Chase Merchant Services (CMS) team handle development, data analysis, on boarding new data feeds, L3 Support etc. Onsite and offshore teams work very closely.
Responsibilities: Required to develop very good understanding of existing platform and data ingestion process. Work with product owner and data scientists to prepare data for their needs. Work in a agile environment and provide high quality deliverable to business.
Skill Set Required:
Role: Senior Bigdata Developer
Proficient in: Shell Script, Python, Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Linux, Bigdata, Control-m, Data Analysis, Analytical skill and Quick learner.
Good working knowledge in: Java, Spark
