Duties: As a technical lead, understand the scope of the project and work with product owners and stakeholders. Work with system architects for the application architecture. Develop the detailed design flow for the application. Configure the data bases like Cassandra, Hadoop Big data to persist the application data. Configure data store like Elastic Search to provide the search capabilities to the customer via APIs. Design and develop processes to consume from Kafka and ingest data into different data bases using python, spark, java. Design and develop processes to service data via Microservices. Build CI/CD pipelines in Jules for deployment using Bitbucket for code check in. Deploy microservices code into Cloud platform. Implement data ingestion into AWS S3 and use AWS services like Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Crawlers, etc. Manage, coach and technically lead one scrum team size of 5 people following Agile best practices.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in Big Data development, Software Engineering, or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus 6 years of experience in Big Data development, Software Engineering, or related experience.
Skills required: Experience with API Development. Experience in developing micro services. Experience with No-Sql & RDBMS databases. Relational Database experience such as Oracle. Experience with Python, Spark, plsql, Java Script and programming languages like Java. Experience with Elastic Search. Experience with CI/CD. Experience in Data Modeling. Experience with Kafka.
